From a young age, I knew I wanted to become a doctor. I fondly remember calling myself "Dr. Sonya" and convincing my siblings to play the role of patients. Wearing glasses as a child sparked my fascination with eye care, and visits to the optometrist quickly became some of my favorite experiences—eventually inspiring my lifelong career path. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Rhode Island College and am completing my Doctor of Optometry degree at MCPHS University. I’m passionate about improving patients’ lives through exceptional eye care. One of the most rewarding aspects of my profession is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on each patient’s overall well-being. My goal is to provide high-quality, personalized care in a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable learning about and managing their ocular health.
